Konsep Two-in-One pada Desain Trandem, Sliding Tandem, Air Purifier, dan Portable Commuter Bikes
Abstract
Abstrak—Fungsi ekstra produk sepeda untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan baru yang semakin beragam berikut permasalahan lingkungan yang timbul akan memantik ide segar untuk membuat desain sepeda lebih kreatif lagi sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat tersebut. Tujuan dibuatnya desain sepeda yang tidak hanya berfungsi tunggal tersebut akan dapat lebih memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna produk. Konsep two-in-one pada sebuah sepeda mengakibatkan fungsi sepeda menjadi tidak hanya sebagai alat transportasi semata. Inovasi desain produk sepeda yang dihasilkan merupakan sebuah solusi yang ditunggu oleh masyarakat. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah dengan mengimplementasikan secara intens design thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pada setiap aktivitas riset sangat mungkin dilaksanakan sub-aktivitas yang akan dapat memperkuat hasil desain. Analisa struktur sepeda dengan simulasi numerik dapat mengontrol desain alternatif sepeda. Dari empat buah desain dan prototipe sepeda yang telah diwujudkan selanjutnya dapat disusun program hilirisasi produk hasil riset. Dimana fitur-fitur andalannya adalah sebuah konsep two-in-one yang melekat pada setiap produk sepeda tersebut.
Abstract—The extra function of bicycle products to meet new, increasingly diverse needs along with environmental problems that arise will bring up fresh ideas to make bicycle designs more creative according to the needs of the community. The purpose of making a bicycle design that does not only have a single function will be able to better meet the needs of product users. The concept of two-in-one on a bicycle resulted in the function of the bicycle being not only as a means of transportation. The resulting bicycle product design innovation is a solution that is awaited by the community. The method used is to implement design thinking intensely: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In each research activity, it is possible to carry out sub-activities that will strengthen the design results. Structure analysis of bicycles with numerical simulation can control alternative designs of bicycles. From the four bicycle designs and prototypes that have been realized, a downstream program for research products can be arranged. Where the flagship features are a two-in-one concept that is attached to each of these bicycle products.
