Abstract

Abstract- Haptics communication is part of non-verbal communication. Haptics communication happens when mother and baby interact while babywearing. Haptics communication is spontaneous, intuitive, unrealized, and out of control. So the mother does not realize haptic communication happened between her and the baby when babywearing. Haptics communication happened as an impact of intimate distance because of babywearing. Data was collected qualitatively by interviewing the mother as a primary carer of a baby age 0-6 months and observing their interaction while babywearing. This research observed haptics communication between mother and baby, impact and benefits from communication haptics build.
