Author Guidelines
IJOAS journal publishes original articles on all aspects of actuarial science disciplines. Articles are considered for publication with the condition that they have not been published or submitted for publication by other publishers.
Manuscript, proposed will be reviewed by reviewers with the criteria of originality, significance, quality, and accuracy. Editorial board authorized to accept, reject, or suggest the authors to improve manuscripts. The template can be downloaded here (ms. Word). Author can download the example here.
Revision, the manuscript suggested to be revised has to be sent to the author along with the suggestion of reviewer. However, the author can provide rebuttal comments or suggestions.
Language, manuscripts should be written in English.
Author’s Data, Author full name (no abbreviation) and author full address (complete with postcode). For the correspondence author add the phone, fax number, and E-mail address.
Abstract, concise description (not more than 100 words) of the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions required. Keywords (not more than 10) should be provided below abstract, first keyword being the most important.
Formation, The manuscript must be typed in multiple space 10 pitch by using A4 paper (210 mm x 297 mm) with left margin 2.5 cm and right margin top and down 1.69 cm. Article must be typed justified formation, and first paragraph has to be dragged 0.36 cm to the right side. Greece symbol has to be original like β (beta), γ (gamma) and etc. Chemical notation has to go with standard rule, such as BaTiO3 and Mg(OH)2.
The equality, the main body of the paper should be numbered in consecutive order as (1) Background, (2) Method of Research, (3) Result and Discussion, (4) Conclusions. All pages should be numbered consecutively not less than 8 pages and not more than 20 pages. Tables and Figure should be titled and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and placed on separate sheets at the end of the manuscript. Title of the table is arranged on top of the table and that Fig. subsequently follows the Fig. The maximum size of Fig. is 15 cm x 20 cm. Line art should be submitted in black ink or laser printing, half tone and color should be original and glossy art.
References, IEEE is a selected format used in this journal. A numbered list of references must be provided at the end of the paper. The list should be arranged in the order of citation in text, not in alphabetical order. List only one reference per reference number. Each reference number should be enclosed by square brackets. In text, citations of references may be given simply as “in [1] . …”, Sample correct formats for various types of references are as follows. Please use citation tool, such as Zotero, Endnote, or Mendeley, to help you manage your references.
