Evaluasi Kinerja Sistem Irigasi Bendung D.I Wonosari Kecamatan Megang Sakti Kabupaten Musi Rawas

Abstract


D.I Wonosari weir, located in Wonosari Village, Musi Rawas Regency, serves an irrigation area of 50 hectares, which only 5.8 hectares (approximately 11.5%) are productive rice fields. One of the primary causes of low productivity is damage around the weir structure caused by fluctuating water flow. Therefore, an evaluation of the irrigation system's performance is necessary to identify effective measures for its management and rehabilitation. Data collection was conducted by survey method and evaluating the irrigation system's performance based on Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing (PERMEN PUPR) No. 12/PRT/M/2015. Priority handling used Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method. The analysis results indicated percentage of the performance index value for the D.I Wonosari irrigation system based on six indicators, was Physical Infrastructure at 24.42%, Crop Productivity at 11.65%, Supporting Facilities was 2.43%, Personnel Organization at 10.50%, Documentation at 2.74%, and Water User Associations (P3A) at 0%. Overall, the performance index of the D.I Wonosari irrigation system was determined to be 51.73%, categorizing it as poor and requiring immediate attention. These conditions directly affect crop productivity in the D.I Wonosari, highlighting the need for periodic preventive maintenance. Priority improvements should focus on the main building, carrier channel and structures on the channel
