Manuscript Preparation
The manuscript must be written in English between 2000-7000 words and can be prepared either using Microsoft Word, or Latex. For latex users there is no special template, please use document class “article” and submit the pdf file. When accepted, all manuscripts will be edited by Journal Editing Team to the publication format using Latex.
Structure of article
The structure of the article must as follow
- Titles, Author‘s list, Affiliation list and the address, and email of the corresponding authors
- Abstract and keywords
- Introduction
- Experimental or theoretical methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusions
- Acknowledgments
- References
- Figure, Tables, and Caption
- Supplementary information
Titles, Authors, and affiliation
The title shall be representative of the content of the paper and must be written in grammatically correct English. Typically the title is less than 20 words. Please write the title in the Title Case. The list of the author should contain all the authors that contribute significantly to the work. The full name of the author should be provided and correctly spelled. The affiliations of all authors must be provided including the complete address and the countries. Please indicate the affiliations with a superscript in Arabic numerals. Provide details of the corresponding author including a valid email address and phone number in the footnote.
Abstract, Keywords
The abstract must be brief, concise, and composed of less than 200 words. The abstract provides the context, the experimental/theoretical description, the main results, and the work conclusion. Don’t put citations, figure, table, and an equation in the abstract. Avoid the use or abbreviation or if strictly necessary it must be defined in the first usage.
Introduction
The introduction contains a brief elaboration of the context of the works and the relations between the present work and the previous. Provide the background, the aim of the work and highlight the contribution of the present work.
Experimental/theoretical
Details materials, equipment, and experimental procedure or detail theoretical or calculation procedure. The experimental section shall provide the necessary information for reproducing the results.
Results and Discussion
The results and discussion can be presented in one section or separate section and can be divided into sub-sections. The results present and explain the experimental/theoretical results. All the data, figures, and tables must be described and explained in the text. Provide scientific discussion based on the observation, measurements, or calculations.
Conclusions
The conclusion should be brief and outline the finding discussed in the Result and Discussion.
Citations and references
Authors are required to use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or similar software. Citation and bibliography formatting must follow the IEEE style. All references listed in the bibliography must be cited in the text and numbered consecutively in square brackets, for example: as discussed in previous works [1], [2].
In addition, each manuscript is required to cite at least three articles previously published in JMES, where relevant to the topic of the submitted work.
Where available, it is recommended that each reference include a URL or DOI link. Authors are encouraged to cite at least 15 references.
The bibliography format must follow the example below: It is recommended that all the reference is accompanied by the URL link

Equation
An equation is inserted in the text and concurrently numbered, such as shown in Equation (1).

with all of the symbols, such as E, m, and c, in the equation should be declared in the text following the equation (not in a separate list). All listed references must be cited in the text and numbered consecutively in a square bracket (e.g. “as discussed in the previous works [1,2]”). The bibliography format must follow the example below. Where available the URL link of the reference shall be given. Aim to have about a minimum of 15 references cited.
Symbols and Units
Use a Greek letter for symbol and SI units in the manuscript
Figures, Table, and Caption
Accepted figure formats are PDF, TIFF, and JPEG.
The maximum figure width is 8 cm for a single-column figure or 16 cm for a double-column figure, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. The use of color in figures is encouraged where appropriate.
All figures must be provided in two forms:
- Embedded in the manuscript at the appropriate location for review, and
- uploaded separately as high-resolution files in the complementary file for production purposes. Each figure should be submitted as an individual file, preferably in its original format.
Tables must be prepared as editable text in Microsoft Word and must not be submitted as images.
Figure and table captions must not be embedded in the artwork. All captions should remain in the main manuscript file.
