Focus and Scope

Journal  of Physics and Application (JPA) publishes high impact, original research about physical sciences and their application. Publications should apply physical sciences paradigms to address problem in sciences and techniques.

 

Physical Sciences and Application topics of interest include:

  1. Acoustics ranging from medicine and non-disturbed test (NDT) for environment and buildings applications.
  2. Material sciences and their application (ceramic, nano-technology, nano-material);
  3. Optical science and technology in the field of astronomical, nonlinear, biometric optics and other related issues
  4. Particular emphasis on methodological developments and innovative applications of geophysical sciences and techniques to apply engineering, environmental, and hydrological problems. Related topical research in exploration geophysics and in soil and rock physics is also covered. 
  5. Methodological development of computational method for solving physical problems.
  6. Instrumentation for medical application and NDT, sensor, control, etc.

 

The JPA manuscript checks using Ithenticate Software, where the manuscript submitted in the JPA must less than 20 % of similarity index.

Peer Review Process

Each article submitted to the editor will be selected through an initial review process by the editorial board. All submitted texts will be checked for plagiarism potential using the software "iThenticate". Then the article will be sent to the reviewer and will be selected by the single blind method. In each manuscript, reviewers will assess the substance of the technical aspects of the article. Assessment criteria include originality, truth of content, clarity of description, and suitability of journal targets with process review. After that, the article will be returned to the author for revision. A reviewer of the JFA journal is an expert in physics and its applications. They have experience in leading journal management and have published papers at national and international levels.

 

Publication Frequency

Journal of Physics and Applications (JPA) is an academic journal on the issued related to physics and  applications. Published actually  twice a year, ie the period January-June, and July-December. It is open to all scientists, researcher related to the physics.

 

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication ethics and Malpractice Statement

Author    

1. Standard article     

The author must present an accurate original article about the work process carried out and present an objective discussion. In the article, data must be displayed accurately. Articles must contain sufficient details and references so that others can develop research. Intentional or incorrect statements that are intentional are unethical and unacceptable.    

2. Authenticity and plagiarism     

The author must ensure that their work is fully original, and if the author has used the work and / or words of others that have been cited or quoted appropriately.     

3. Double publication    

An author should not publish a script that descriptively describes the same research in more than one journal or other publication. Submitting the same text to more than one journal simultaneously is an unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.     

4. Source Recognition:     

The writer must always acknowledge the work that others have made. The author must quote publications that have influence in determining the nature of the article submitted.    

5.  About Author Articles     

The author's name listed is limited only to those who have contributed significantly to the concept, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported research. All people who have made significant contributions must be registered as authors. If there are other people who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they must be recognized or registered as contributors. The author who corresponds to the editor must ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no co-authors are incorrectly included in the article and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the article and have approved the submission for publication.     

6. Conflict of Interest:     

All authors must disclose in their texts any financial problems or other conflicts of substantive interest that can be interpreted to influence the results or interpretation of their texts. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.     

7. Fundamental errors in published works:     

When an author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in his own published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to withdraw or correct the manuscript.


Editor     

1. Justice:     

An editor at any time evaluates the script for their intellectual content without regard to the race, gender, religion, ethnic origin, nationality, or political flow of the writers.     

2. Confidentiality:     

The editor and each editorial staff are prohibited from providing any information about the manuscript sent to someone other than the author, sustainable partners, editorial board, and other publishers.     

3. Conflict of Interest:     

Unpublished material written in the proposed text cannot be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.     

4. Publication Decision:     

Journal editors are responsible for determining which articles are published. The editors can ask for input from the journal editorial board and available tools to overcome copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors can discuss with other editors and reviewers to make this decision.     

5. Script Review:     

The editor must ensure that each manuscript is evaluated by the editor in relation to originality. The editor must arrange and use the reviewer fairly and wisely. The editor must explain the peer review process as information for the author and also indicate which part of the journal is reviewed by the reviewer. The editor must use appropriate peer reviewers for articles that are deemed to be published by selecting people with adequate expertise and avoiding conflicts of interest.


Reviewer     

1. Contributions to Editorial Decisions:     

Reviewers help editors in making editorial decisions. Through communication between editors and writers, reviewers can also help authors improve articles.     

2. Speed

Every selected reviewer who feels that he or she does not meet the requirements to review the manuscript must notify the editor and resign from the review process     

3. Objectivity Standards:     

The review process must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism for the author is incorrect. Reviewers must express their views clearly and be accompanied by supporting arguments.     

4. Confidentiality:     

Every text received for review must be treated as a confidential document. They may not be shown or discussed with others except those authorized by the editor.

Article Processing Charges

This journal does not require Article Processing Charge, which includes submission fees, processing fees, additional page fees, and color fees, from the authors for each manuscript that has been submitted, processed and published through the Journal  of Physics and Application (JPA)
