Simulasi Numerik Penelusuran Aliran di Kanal Menggunakan Persamaan Saint-Venant

Abstract


Penelitian ini membahas perilaku debit di sepanjang kanal secara numerik menggunakan data debit yang tercatat di bagian hulu. Secara matematis perilaku debit di kanal dapat dilukiskan menggunakan persamaan Saint-Venant satu dimensi. Persamaan Saint-Venant merupakan sistem persamaan diferensial parsial non-linier dan secara umum belum ditemukan solusi analitiknya. Dalam penelitian ini model matematika tersebut disederhanakan dengan cara memodifikasi persamaan momentumnya. Persamaan Saint-Venant yang telah disederhanakan diselesaikan secara numerik menggunakan metode beda hingga eksplisit. Untuk memastikan bahwa model numerik yang dihasilkan dapat diimplementasikan, maka dilakukan uji validasi dengan model numerik yang dipilih dari literatur. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa input hidrograf dengan debit puncak 12 m3/detik mengalami peredaman debit sepanjang kanal. Pada lokasi x = 600 m dari hulu kanal, debit puncak menyusut menjadi 7,38 m3/detik.
